This website is the home for the IHP semester “The Mathematics of Climate and the Environment” that will take place between September to December 2019.

You can also access the monthly seminar website from here.



Registration is free but mandatory to be able to participate to one (or to all!) of these conferences and to the pre-school.



All the conferences will take place at IHP.

  • Nonlinear and stochastic methods in climate and geophysical fluid dynamics. Oct. 7 – 11, 2019
  • Big data, data assimilation, and uncertainty quantification. Nov. 12 – 15, 2019
  • Coupled climate-ecology-economy modeling and model hierarchies. Dec. 2 – 6, 2019

Cargese pre-school
